Terms & Conditions
Aligné Pilates Studio Policies
Effective Date: January 2026
Please read these Terms & Studio Policies carefully before booking or attending classes at Aligne Pilates Studio ltd (“Aligné”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking, attending, or participating in any class, private session, or service provided by Aligné Pilates Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Amendments to These Terms
Aligné Pilates Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide at least 30 days’ written notice to existing members and clients before the updated Terms take effect. For non-material changes (such as corrections or clarifications), updated Terms will take effect upon publication. Your continued use of our services following the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you may cancel your membership or services in accordance with the relevant cancellation provisions below.
2. Class Bookings
* All classes must be booked in advance via our website or through the Momence booking platform.
* Payment is required at the time of booking unless you are using valid class credits or an active membership.
* Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
* A booking is only confirmed once payment or a class credit has been successfully applied.
Class Changes & Instructor Substitutions
Aligné Pilates Studio reserves the right to change instructors, class formats, or class schedules where reasonably necessary. Where possible, clients will be notified of class cancellations or schedule changes in advance. In the case of class cancellations by Aligné Pilates Studio, affected class credits will be reinstated. Instructor substitutions may occur without prior notice and do not entitle clients to a refund or credit.
3. Cancellations & No-Shows
* Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the class start time will retain the class credit.
* Late cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time will result in the class credit being forfeited.
* Failure to attend a booked class (no-show) will result in the class credit being forfeited and an administration fee of £5 being charged. This fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of the administrative costs associated with a no-show.
Private Sessions
* 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 sessions require a minimum of 24 hours’ cancellation notice.
* Late cancellations or missed private sessions will result in the full session fee being charged.
Waitlists
* Joining a waitlist requires a valid class credit or active membership.
* If you are added to a class from the waitlist, the booking will be confirmed automatically and you will be notified.
* Standard cancellation policies apply from the point of confirmation.
4. Memberships
* Memberships are rolling agreements billed monthly.
* A minimum commitment of three consecutive months applies unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.
* After the minimum term, memberships automatically renew on a monthly basis until cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
* Unused classes included in a membership do not roll over to the following month.
Cancellation
Memberships may be cancelled after the minimum term by providing 28 days’ written notice to hello@alignepilatesstudio.co.uk. Please include your full name and the email address associated with your account. Cancelling a payment via your bank or payment provider does not constitute cancellation of your membership. We may pursue any outstanding balance arising from an unauthorised payment cancellation.
5. Class Packs
* Class packs do not require a minimum-term contract.
* Class packs are valid for three months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.
* Class credits must be used within the validity period and will expire automatically at the end of that period without further notice.
* Class packs are non-transferable and non-refundable, save where required by applicable law.
6. Payments
Payments for classes, memberships, and class packs are processed at the time of booking or in accordance with the applicable membership billing schedule. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable, save where required by applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Payment Disputes
Aligné Pilates Studio aims to resolve all payment queries quickly and fairly. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us at hello@alignepilatesstudio.co.uk before raising a dispute with your bank or card provider. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory right to raise a payment dispute with your bank or card provider. However, where a chargeback is raised in respect of services that have been properly provided in accordance with these Terms, Aligné Pilates Studio reserves the right to recover any outstanding balance and may suspend access to services pending resolution of the dispute.
7. Late Arrival
* Clients are encouraged to arrive at least five minutes before class begins.
* Late arrivals may be refused entry once a class has started in order to maintain safety and avoid disruption to other clients and the instructor.
* If entry is denied due to late arrival, the class credit will be forfeited.
